Quiet Places

We have expanded our offerings. Please consider taking some time out for you this season, and join us in a Quiet Place.

ave you ever wished you could just sit quietly and collect your thoughts?
Are you yearning for a retreat but just can't find the resources to get away?
Are you looking for some guidance as you approach this year?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions then Quiet Places is just for you. During certain times at Pathways of Grace the space will be in a quiet zone for anyone who wishes to drop by for a few minutes and re-center or stay for the whole time and get reacquainted with your soul. Sometimes all it takes is getting to a different environment and showing up to your soul.

You may want to have quiet time to curl up in a comfy chair to engage with a devotional, read or meditate...perhaps sitting at a table to color, draw or write sounds like a delicious way to spend a little time restoring your soul. Looking for some quiet time and space to work on a project? We've got the place for you!

Hosted by Sandy Kenger.

Sandy is available for complimentary 1 hour Spiritual Direction sessions on Sundays.

If you have wanted to try Spiritual Direction, or if the cost is prohibitive, Sunday sessions are provided at no charge.

Sandy Kenger

I’m delighted to be a part of the Pathways of Grace Community, providing spiritual direction and spiritual coaching.  My own life journey brought me to a place where I recognized how different life could be when every aspect of it was seen and experienced through a spiritual lens.  I found that the more fully I was able to connect with God as a general way of being, the more meaningful and rich life became…the joyful, as well as the challenging aspects.  I find it a privilege to journey with others into the practice of looking for God in every moment, every encounter and every corner of life.  The real delight of this practice is in the intimacy that can be experienced with our creator.

Spiritual direction is a time of slowing down to listen for the divine whispers of our souls, to reach out to the God who loves us unconditionally and invites us into relationship…friendship.

Whether this is a new relationship for you or one that goes way back… tending it, taking time for it and reflecting upon it will serve to deepen and enrich it.  Like our human relationships, our relationship with the Divine needs time, communication and consideration.  Spiritual direction creates a space for holy listening, a time to reflect and honor the most important relationship of our lives.

Spiritual coaching works from the idea that God wants to be intimately involved in the whole of our life…our work, our relationships, our hobbies and pastimes...all our comings and goings, moment to moment, day to day.  With our best interests at heart and full knowledge of how we’ve been created, God can guide us, “coach us”, into what is best for us.  Taking the time tolisten to the whispers of the spirit, discern signs and nudges from God and consider our gifts, our tendencies, our preferences and even our quirks, we can begin to see what God had in mind in creating us and move to craft a life that reflects God’s desire for us.

I’d love to talk with you about the possibility of accompanying you on your unique spiritual journey.  I can be reached atsandykenger@yahoo.com or 602-619-2887.
